Islamic Wisdom

When someone criticises or disagrees with you, a small ant of hatred and antagonism is born in your heart. If you don't squash that ant at once, it might grow into a snake, or even a dragon.

To admonish your brother in private is to advice him. But to admonish him publicly is to disgrace and shame him.

Some people make their goals the stars. They may live and die never reaching them, but in the darkness of the night, those stars will guide them to their destination, because they put them in their sights.

Listen to your heart and not your ego. Your ego prompts you to boast of vain assertions to obtain the glory of this world. Turn away from vanity and seek Him in the recesses of your heart and soul.

Work for your teressterial life in propotion to your location in it, and work for your after life in propotion to your eternity in it.

Does money upset the hearts of learned men? He answerd; "Men whose hearts changed by money are not learned."

If a gem falls into mud, it is still valuable. If dust ascends to heaven, it remain valueless.
