Fusion

It is the fourth day of sungkai and CQ is pretty sure many of us have been eating home cooked menus or food bought from the tamus, make shift road vendors or any restaurants' outlets in the city.

Whatever it is, do Not waste food. Do Not buy more than what is enough for you to swallow.

Anyway, some may not have any ideas of what to cook for sungkai. Mind blockage ehh ...never mind. CQ will share one of CQ's signature dish huhuhu =) It is a fusion of east meets west spaghetti. You will have to try this recipe to find out why it is called fusion spaghetti.

Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic - chopped
1 big onion - chopped
1 inch ginger - chopped
1 tsp white pepper
1 carrot - chopped coarsely
1 tin of champignons - sliced thinly
1 large onion - chopped
2 tins of SW / Hunt's tomatoes with chopped onions, celery, bell pepper and roasted garlic
1 bottle of tomato sauce
salt to taste
600 grams minced beef
1 packet of spaghetti - cooked and drained well
grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil

What you have to do ~
1. Heat olive oil in pot. Stir in chopped garlic, onion and ginger until fragrant.
2. Add in minced beef and stir well. Add the white pepper.
3. Then add the 2 tins of SW / Hunt's tomatoes and cook well. After 5 minutes, add champignons, carrot, onions and tomato sauce. Cook for about 15 mins or till beef is well cooked.
4. Put in salt to taste accordingly.
5. Serve on cooked spaghetti and spinkle some Parmesan cheese on top.

p.s ~ recipe may taste varily, the secret ingredient is in the hands that cooks up this recipe ..huhu =)
