Chewy Junior

You may have seen or tasted mini muffins, mini cupcakes and even mini cream puffs. They can be so lovely and cute-cute that you are tempted to frame them up and hang on your kitchen walls huhuhu ...

While in Bugis Junction Mall last January, CQ found these Chewy Junior cream puffs, not only are they in mini size, they came in varieties of flavors too - ada durian, apple, blueberry, pineapple, strawberry cheese and chocolate with nuts to name a few.

This box of small chewy cream puffs costs $7.50 with different flavors.

These minis look familiar isn't it? Okies ...CQ came by to this casa last week and was served with a plate of cold mini cuppies and that little squares - the more they 'aged', the better they taste =) and they are gone in just few minutes ...mana inda kalau di-gobbled up by Bigboss, Kimchi, SP and Bunny jua ...ohh Mrs. Sam and her kids jua kali ahhh =)

This is a bread. Usually the fillings are just cream but this one got ube lah - can see the purper kara? ...aku buleh santai2 makan ruti ani atas krusi kayu Bali di umah ani ...dengan angin sipoi2 huhu ..apakann wrong channel tia!

Anyway, CQ forgot the name of this bread but it rhymes with Esmeralda? maybe ...huhu ..sorry it is not sold here (ya kann?) - far far away.

Italiano il chibo

If you are one of those food-lovers, you will tend to share your taste-buds experiences with your food buddies too.

Ahaa! Just a few nights ago, CQ got to know that Senor Pablo was out enjoying Italian il chibo with his friends... huhu.

Knowing CQ also loves Italian food, Senor Pablo shared his wonderful experience with CQ ...errr not until he pestered to know how did CQ know about it :) ... heehee CQ has a friend who is a 'big' Chef at the Italian restaurant.

This cake is a really for those who have sweet tooth. CQ likes the crunchiness of the pastry which compliments the yellow custard 'pureed' with passion fruit - see the seeds scattered on top?

It is so sweet that you are to enjoy with black coffee or cappucino - sitting on your patio or backyard garden ..or maybe serve them for high-tea with friends but don't forget to invite CQ lols ...

Such a darling cake! Bigboss loves this one ..it is not too sweet and has a soft sourish taste. Diabetics can enjoy but not tooo much!

The top layer has a meringue -like taste. The whitish colour must be the cream and the greenish layer is so nice. It has a nutty taste, which CQ thought must be almonds ...well CQ did not have time to checked it out - becoz gobbled it down too quickly and were too engrossed describing the taste to Bunny :))

hmmm these two pieces are for Bigboss and Kimchi ...CQ is so tempted to just eat them up! hehehe.

You can enjoy this lovely cake piece when sitting by the window and watch the world goes by and sipping your hot tea or coffee.

These apple pies have just been out from the oven ..phewww must been hot in there heheh. Can you see the 'window' effect?? that's the 'louvres' in apple pies ..huhu what is CQ talking about? Oh well, you will have no time to ask when you are eating these pies.

Snow of icing sugar as decor huhu ...these are great for high-teas or children's party as finger food.

Now this is more like sate style but instead of using the normal sate wooden sticks, Bunny had used lemon-grass stalks to hold the chicken patties wrapped around them.

The dip is sweet and has a spicy zing. It is best when eaten hot. Another creative idea that you can serve when hosting any events or functions at home.

A peep into A-list cake kitchen ..

It is not everyday that you get a special 'invitation' to tour in Bunny Pablo's world of cake baking but somehow, today is like 'langkah kanan' for CQ hehehe ...special photo shoot for Bunny Yummies! and let's do some peeping into this A-list cake kitchen :D

At about 8pm on the dot, CQ and Kimchi arrived at Bunny's crib armed ..err of course with CQ's good buddy lah ...my baby Canon - sekadar hahahahaha ..

Hmmm CQ can really smell those freshly baked cakes upon stepping out from my car. Waaah you can go goo-goo-ga-ga and drooling with those sweet and tempting smells ..let alone sampling or eating Bunny Yummies' cakes and desserts ....yooohh

Ohh this is the machine that goes grrrrrrrr or zzrrrrrrr when Bunny used it for whisking all the cake ingredients into frothy mixture or ...sorry ehh CQ don't know all about baking terms hehehe..so CQ used own descriptions ok ..

CQ caught this in action when Bunny was pouring milk into
the chocolate mixture hmmm ..cool

then the chocolate mixture is being poured into the baking dish lined with a white paper as its base ..

This picture shows how Bunny cuts the pastry puff into segments ..

The segmented puff is then lightly cut in the middle to form kind of 'lourves' effects, CQ thinks this is to allow air into the puff so as to prevent the fillings from bursting out from the puff when baking hmmm CQ forgot to ask Bunny ..but you definitely must have PATIENCE!

Anyway, stay tune for more updates of the latest and newest cakes, desserts and finger foods from Bunny Yummies. CQ is not going to spoil her FUN hehehe ..this is just a little peep!

Ohhh CQ saw Fun Boy too ...a big help to his mother. CQ heard how Bunny asked Fun Boy to count the pastries ...and Fun Boy eagerly counted 'satu, dua, tiga ...' hehehe :))
