There are 4 things you probably never knew that your Mobile Phone could do. Something to share with CQ's readers from a friend ...

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it.

First: Emergency
The emergency number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency - dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. Interestingly this number 112 can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out!

Verdict: CQ tried and it's true!!


Second: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone. If you locked your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Verdict: CQ has not tried but it was said to work fine - to unlock our car over a mobile phone! Try lah ok!


Third: Hidden battery power
Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate - press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

Verdict: CQ yet to try :)


Fourth: How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone
To check your mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #. A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief! changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use or sell it either. If everybody does this, then there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. Share this information to your family and friends :)

Verdict: *touchwood* ehh but CQ will keep in mind :D

Don't throw your old PC

Try to do something useful and creative from your old computers. It can be a fun hobby to pass your bored time or even make small income out of it ...heheee :)

The keyboard can be created into many things and the mouse can be re-use ...like these ~ see collage picture below.

You can make a toy mouse; transformer mousie, airplane mousie, croco-mousie, flowering mousie or even the dino-mousie ...or what ever ideas that strike your mind.

Need a new and inexpensive cage for your pet? Try the monitor...or as a big ashtray when you and friends smoke on the patio or in the garden...cool eh? ..errr maybe try to quit smoking lah hehehe you will live longer and healthier :)

And then comes your CPU ...check it out! a CPU-coffee machine? Make sure all your data are transfered out eh...

What? You are not that creative? No idea? or plain lazy hahaha...ok try this one...I am sure you will like it very much ...and make money lahhhh *wink wink* scroll down ....

Being a newcomer to the blogging scene, Bunny's Yummies is a blog where people can really go 'KANYANG' (bloatingly full) just by seeing the beautiful coloured pictures of Bunny's creations and recipes.

Though i did not make it to her cake samplings recently :'( - I am sure it was a success. Her baking skills are just awesome, amazing and incomparable. Most of her recipes are so delicious and finger-licking wonderful. Her Vietnamese salad rolls and Pavlova are among my favorites...

Anyway, I would love to 'invite' Bunny Pablo to my gadget-food sampling too ...lols (inda mau kalah kali aahhh ...hahaha) ...anytime and anywhere. These food cannot be ordered, just one-time sampling event ...lols. So Bunny Pablo, come with Daboys ok... and Senor Pablo too hehehe.
