Road traffic + road safety

Congested road traffic a.k.a. traffic jams, especially the morning ones, can at times be such an unbearable wait in the long line. (it's comparable to end-month-pay-bills queue at banks or choo-choo train queue at fundonuts hehee)

The Government through the relevant authorities have been improving road structures nationwide in order to manage and ease traffic flows, as part of giving a new face-lift to the present infrastructures. With the increase of car population on the roads, many roads and traffic junctions have been widened. Road users are definitely driving with comforts on these new and improved roads. Even pedestrians can enjoy using the well-built pavements and walkways along many roads.

The authorities have been mounting countless of efforts to campaign on safe driving on the roads. But, one may ask - what are the actual factors that could possibly contribute to road traffic? Unless there is an accident or road constructions seen at a particular scene, what are the other reasons? Let's think and ponder ...

In fact, I am glad that I can hardly hear any unnecessary honks or honing from road users as compared to some neighbouring countries, where you can hear honking from irritating drivers at every tick of the seconds ...

Being a road user (that include drivers and pedestrians alike), one may have to be confident, smart, alert, patient and not least be courteous enough to handle any impending or unavoidable incidents on the road. Roads are meant to share, not yours alone.

Road rage and road hogs are some of the common contributors to any road traffic or fatality. Though laws have been laid down, still, there are road offenders running loose ...like using handphones while driving, cutting lanes in a dangerous way and driving recklessly as if they are the next F1 wannabes.

Who do you think are safer drivers - male or female? :)) Well ...all I can say is to drive safe and stay cool :)

Ohhhhh on the lighter side ...becareful and be on the look out for this out-of-nowhere pranskter (see picture below) ...

just for laughs :D
