Archeologist in the making

Since I am still so gundu about this blogging features and applications, I thought I would write something about discovery :D

In was late last year, when three classes of Form 4 History students, from Sekolah Menengah Rimba went on a field trip to one of the possible abandoned historical sites at Sungai Limau Manis.

The trip is to allow the students to explore the actual site that has been abondoned many many years ago. At the same time, they were also assisting (in a way) the National Museum in finding any valuable artefacts that could date back to hundreds of years.

Kimchi was among the Form 4 students who went on the field trip. She loves History subject very much and hopes to be an Archeologist in the future. She was exploring the trail up along a hill near the river, with her classmates when she stumbled upon a hard object. That caught her attention. She dug out the object slowly with her bare hands and was excited when she found a still-intact pottery pot. She showed to her teacher and the Site Ranger on duty.

Since the pot was found a National Site, the object was to be handed to the National Museum for further studies.

Kimchi managed to capture a few pictures of the historic pot she found on her mobile phone camera as proof.

Hmmm I wonder what had happened to the pot now... anyway, it was a stepping stone for Kimchi towards achieving her ambition :) ..insyaAllah ...Amin.
