Turkish chicken rice

Suddenly today i was in da mood to cook chicken rice. It is very simple recipe that I engineered from all the original recipes of chicken rice ...lols.

Ingredients:
stock/soup:
1kg of chicken parts - wings/thighs - cleaned
2cm ginger - sliced
3 cloves of garlic - chopped or minced
1 large onion - sliced
3liters of water
2 cubes of chicken stock

rice:
1cm ginger - sliced
2cloves of garlic - diced
1 small onion
3 cups of Basmati rice
chicken stock

How you will cook it:

Boil 3 liters of water in a big pot. When at boiling point, add ginger, garlic, onion, chicken cubes and chicken parts. Two minutes later take out the chicken parts and drained well.

Marinate the drained chicken parts with 2tbsp of 'chicken marinate' sauce and white pepper for about an hour. Then fry till golden brown. It will have a barbecue-sticky effects ...lols.

If you wish to have steam chicken rice, then cook the soup stock with the chicken well and add salt to taste.

For the rice - heat up 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pot. Stir fry the garlic, ginger and onion till fragrant. Add washed Basmati rice and fry well. Then add the chicken stock soup accordingly...and cook on slow fire as you would with any other rice.

Here you are...I have prepared this way ..just for photo-shoot for my blog :)

You can serve with mixed vege aka chap-chai :) or fresh salad plus CQ sambal telor ...quite odd yeaahhh hehehe ...it's my style :)
