The Brunei Book Fair which is taking place at the ICC from 27 February till 7 March 2008, attracted quite a number of visitors.
Though there are many books on display and on sale, I can't really find the kind of books I am looking for :( ...but did managed to buy a few to add up to my library.
At present, I am reading a book entitled 'Love in a Torn Land' by Jean Sasson. It is about the struggle of one woman's daring escape from Iraq. It was a very eventful life story that could bring tears to any one who reads it...I did!
It was an accidental find on the net, when browsing through some Unis that I stumbled upon this book. I guessed by the book's sypnosis, it must be worth a read...so I will have to search for this book soon ...by the way, below is the sypnosis:
"The first global history of genocide and extermination from ancient times to the present, Blood and Soil reveals connections between the various ideologies, psychologies and personalities that have propelled the major human-directed disasters of modern history.."
