Fancy making your largest SPLASH? Try it at the world's largest swimming pool at the San Alfonso del Mar Resort on the South Coast of Chile.
This enormous man-made lagoon and swimming pool is 8 hectares in size and 1km in length...compared to a standard Olympic size pool which only measures some 50 yards by 25 yards. 
Wow...i guess you have to drink a lot of energy drinks like red bull, kukubima or tonic drinks to make a full one lap of the pool...may be not even half...lols.

I read about this the other day and thought " I have to be there one day".Ambitious project but why no one thought about this before? brilliant idea
