Found it!

Alas! I have found the near-perfect Laksa Penang a.k.a. asam laksa. Last night Bigboss, Kimchi and myself decided to have our dinner at one of our favorite restaurant. Usually we had lamb chops or grilled chicken there. They are the best in town so far as compared to other restaurants. The 3 pieces of tantalizing and juicy lamb chops in black pepper sauce is definitely worth its price of B$16.00.

But i decided to try something new, so after browsing through the menu list, i decided to try the laksa Penang which costs B$6.00. After 10 minutes of waiting, alas i was served with the bowl of laksa. hmmmmm yummmmmy the aroma is already tempting you to 'hurry up' and gobble me down ...but somehow i had some difficulty with the chopsticks :D ...lols. Even Bigboss is trying to get a taste of my laksa huhu :p It is exactly the way i would have cooked myself but due to whatever reasons i may have ^^sigh^^ i did not had the chance to cook it...yeah right! Anyway, as i had said earlier that it was a near-perfect asam laksa, because the dish seems to lack some garnishes like thin slices of onion, 'daun kesom', chopped salad leaves, chilli paste and the 'petes' (shrimp paste - black in colour). As a consolation the Laksa Penang had a generous pieces of fresh fish cutlets and the sauce is so uurggghhhh... sooooo beautifully cooked. I would rate the dish at 8/10.

Ohh.. yes of course, i will make a trip back again to the restaurant when i do crave for Laksa Penang ..lols. hmmmmm maybe i will cook it sometime next week when my brother in-law is inviting us for his farewell fuction before he departs for Australia....let see ok :)
