Little did I know, that I was in for a little ...no, a big surprise - when I checked on my little blog this early morning. No signs of hint or rumours (lols) ...BUT WOW! I have been awarded the 'you make my day' award by a fellow blogger from the Lion City! hmmm I'm still over-my-head with the unexpected award ...minus the red carpet walking though ..heehaw
My sincere 'thank you' to Saxyphone , an aspiring musician in his own rights and a blooms lover from Singapore, for giving me this award. I am truly honoured and glad that in a small way my blog and comments had made his day especially during his recent 'stressful' days.
Well, I blog because I love writing and was blog-bug-inspired by my Bigboss and a few bloggers like Arab-Families and SenorPablo . Creative writing plus some bits and pinches of life's jesty-ness and seriousness, had been my passion since 2000, and I do have a few other web pages of which I gained a tremendous number of friends and acquaintances. People say 'sharing is caring' ...so I care by sharing my writings and informative subjects with everyone or anyone who wish to peep in into my world of writing. But, never do I expect anything in return...you can just enjoy reading my writing.
In history :) I was made the Editor-in-Chief for a local in-house newsletter for staff where I used to work here in Brunei. One of my greatest moments is that my writings (through the newsletter) was read by departmental bosses from across the globe...and I wished it had been at least appreciated *sigh* ...anyway, I do keep a thick file of my hardwork (just in-case you need proof ..lols).
Besides writing allows me to think out-of-the-box and creatively...it is kind of making or putting your brain to work. To discover and express my thoughts on whatever subjects flashing through my mind, is a real challenge mentally.
So, I hope you people and bloggers do enjoy reading my blog :)
